User Profile

I was born and lived much of my life in the Southern portion of the U.S. I was born in South Carolina, but ended my "Southern stint" in Texas (where my heart still resides), spending time in Georgia and North Carolina in the interim. I now reside in Ohio with my wife, a dog, and a cat. Our two children are off at university, but venture home on holidays!

I am involved in education and consider myself a fulltime & continuing student of life in my quest for truth. I am Christian by virtue of unbringing and culture, but have shed many of those influences for a broader view of the Universe. I believe that the concept of God cannot be limited to, and has yet to be adequately defined by one group of practioners of any particular religion.

God exceeds our prescribed limits and is powerful in our world and beyond if we are willing to stretch and grow in accordance with where He will lead.

I am also a firm believer in the sad fact that we just don't have enough fun. Life was not granted to us to muck up by too much seriousness. Hey, we won't make it out alive anyway.
